1. Who we are

IGNITRUN is a running and fitness platform that provides training plans, athlete monitoring, and wellness-related services.

2. Information we collect

• Account data: name, email address, password, and profile details.
• Training and performance data: sessions, metrics, and progress records entered by you or your coach.
• Technical data: device information, browser type, IP address, and usage logs.
• Payment and subscription data managed through authorized payment providers.
• Precise location, obtained via GPS while you record a workout. It is collected also while the app is in the background and the screen is off, because that is the only way to record a full run with the phone in your pocket. It is collected only between the moment you tap start and the moment you finish or discard the session, and a persistent notification is shown while it lasts. Outside a session you started, the app does not access your location.
• Health and fitness data: weight, height, date of birth, sex, fitness level, and any injuries or medical conditions you declare so your coach can adjust your training. If you connect a Bluetooth heart rate monitor, your heart rate during the session as well.

3. Why we use your information

• To provide and improve platform features.
• To create and manage your training and membership experience.
• To communicate service updates, support responses, and important notices.
• To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or misuse.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. Information may be shared only with trusted service providers when necessary to operate the service, and with legal authorities when required by law.

• Mercado Pago: the data needed to process payments for event registrations and subscriptions.
• Strava: only if you connect your account, and only then. You can disconnect it at any time from your profile.
• Google: if you choose to sign in with your Google account. Only to verify your identity; we do not send your training data.

Your location is not shared with third parties. A workout route is visible to others only if you choose to publish it, and you can change that preference at any time.

5. Data retention and security

We keep your data only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy and apply technical and organizational safeguards to protect it.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request access, correction, update, deletion, or restriction of your personal data processing.

You can revoke the location permission at any time from your phone settings. The rest of the app keeps working without it; it will simply no longer be able to measure your runs by GPS.

7. Deleting your account

You may request deletion of your account and its associated data by writing to soporte@ignitrun.com from the email address you registered with. We process the request within 30 days at most.

Your profile, health data, training sessions and routes are deleted. We may retain records of completed financial transactions for as long as the law requires, for accounting and tax obligations.
